Originally under the banner of the Newseum in Washington DC, Today's Front Pages provides an unmatched experience of how news is reported around the world.

The Freedom Forum’s mission is to raise public awareness of the important role of a free press in a democratic society. Previously at the Newseum, one of the most popular, permanent exhibits was Today’s Front Pages, that still survives in digital form. Today’s Front Pages was an impressive standing exhibition, with hundreds of national and international front-pages displayed along the perimeter of the Newseum’s building near the Capitol in Washington.

Hundreds of Global Newspapers. Every Day.

3Advance was originally contracted by The Newseum in 2011 to release the first official iPhone version of Today's Front Pages. Then in 2015, our team was given the opportunity to rewrite the app, and redesign it with a much improved user interface and user experience - and of course bring it to Android. The new native apps are responsively designed and optimized for tablets and mobile devices of all sizes.

Towards the end of 2019, the Newseum in Washington DC closed their doors for good. It was devastating news for everyone who lived near or enjoyed visiting the Nation's Capital. Newspaper Front Pages would no longer be posted outside for everyone to enjoy.

The Newseum Closes, but its Legacy Remains.

Freedom Forum took ownership of the property in early 2020 and we were delighted to hear that Today’s Front Pages was an important part of their strategic plan. It would continue in digital format. In June 2020, we were hired by the Freedom Forum to rebrand the app and continue the legacy. The apps now have a beautiful new design, an improved user experience with push notifications and dynamic content, and they enable engagement with Today’s Front Pages users like never before. To this day we continue to maintain and improve the app for the Freedom Forum. It’s one that our team at 3Advance enjoys using regularly, and is loved around the world by many.

With the launch of iOS Widgets in 2020, our team took the initiative to allow Today's Front Page users to add their newspaper favorites directly to their homescreen. That's right - you don't even need to open the app, just unlock your phone to check out your hometown newspaper!
